SASB short-listed for Financial Times Award

SASB shortlisted for the Financial Times Sustainability Finance Awards, in the Technology in Sustainable Finance category.

 

The winners were announced at the Sustainable Finance Awards Dinner at the Landmark Hotel in London on June 14. SASB was represented by John Katovich, a member of the Board.  The Dinner was preceded by the FT/IFC Sustainable Finance Conference, which brings together leading decision-makers in sustainable finance and development. The Conference and Dinner have become major landmarks on the international financial calendar, providing an invaluable opportunity to discuss key issues in this field. It was an achievement to be shortlisted; we were in the category with: Credit Suisse with Opportunity Intl, Switzerland; Itaú Unibanco, Brazil; Kilimo Salama, Kenya and YellowPepper, USA.

 

Congratulations to the winner, Kilimo Salama for leveraging technology to provide micro insurance services to farmers in Kenya.
