SASB’s funding currently comes from foundations, corporations and people like you. Over the next 2 ½ years we will be developing sustainability accounting Standards for 88 industries. Through our Industry Working Groups we will engage with hundreds of industry experts who will review, comment on, and suggest improvements to the Standards as they are developed.

 

Your contribution keeps these Working Groups free of charge to all participants. It allows us to continue to build out the necessary infrastructure – both staff and technology – to run these groups in ways that maximize their input, discussion and exchange of knowledge.

 

In time we will transition to a self-sustaining business model, generating earned income. Until that time your contributions are gratefully accepted. Thank you for supporting SASB.

Corporations

 

We welcome your support! Your organization’s contribution will support SASB’s operations and development of Sustainability Accounting Standards across all ten major sectors. This ensures participation in developing SASB’s standards is free to all interested parties.

 

SASB does not accept corporate membership fees and no benefits are provided in exchange for donations. SASB does not charge for participation in Industry Working Groups and accepts all qualified participants as long as interest groups are balanced. SASB conducts standards development in accordance with ANSI best practices. Grants and donations have no bearing on the outcome of standards development, other than keeping them free of charge and freely accessible to all. We also invite you to learn more about SASB’s Education Program (see Education page).
